Car2go

In 2017, we took part in car2go’s great #ourcar poster campaign. Car2go is a German car rental company, which is not only economically advantageous for the users, but also good for the environment since they use electric cars. In 2017, it was the world’s largest car hire company.

The concept of the campaign was to take photos in 11 countries, of one or two cars surrounded by 40-50 people, who used the same cars in the last few months. It was a great way to illustrate the diversity of the everyday people, who are car2go’us users, and how this service unites them.

The international project was organized by Stink Films, and Progressive’s team offered production service support, as well as location services and location management in the Austrian capital. The concept was to shoot in an iconic location of each city, but they wanted to stay away from tourist aesthetics, so they rather focused on everyday life. In Vienna, their choice fell on the Prater Amusement Park, which is a big favourite of locals. The scene was photographed at sunset so that the Boomerang roller coaster’s neon lights could make the photo of the group of people gathering around the car more atmospheric.

We enjoyed taking part in this creative project and assisting documenting this community in such a beautiful location. It was a great feeling to see Vienna full of these posters!
