Bokod lake is an artificial lake that was created as a part of a thermal power station. Its main peculiarity are the colourful small wooden houses standing on the water, that are accessible from the green, forested shore by numerous narrow, winding plank bridges. An interesting fact is that because of the power station, it never freezes, not even during the coldest winter.
